quarter past ten,
waiting.
hear the water drop,
waiting.
the wind howls ,
the window creeks,
waiting.
waves crash on the shore,
waiting.
courage i have not ,
so i sit.
my mind paces back and forth,
waiting.
a little light shines through,
flickers for a while .
worry swells in the heart,
waiting,
this time with hope.
then it disappears.
no light ,plunged to darkness.
once again.
waiting.
hear the water drop,
waiting.
the wind howls ,
the window creeks,
waiting.
waves crash on the shore,
waiting.
courage i have not ,
so i sit.
my mind paces back and forth,
waiting.
a little light shines through,
flickers for a while .
worry swells in the heart,
waiting,
this time with hope.
then it disappears.
no light ,plunged to darkness.
once again.
